A great number of people look to the Newspaper to ready their daily Horoscope to see what is coming up in their life. Some people take this very seriously while others find it comical.
The reasons for this difference are innumerable. However, there is a reality to consider.
There is an old saying regarding the newspaper horoscopes that goes “If you don’t like your horoscope, read a different paper.” There truly is logic to this perspective that does not damage the Astrologer’s profession, nor the accuracy of the Newspaper forecast.
• There are multiple ways of calculating Horoscopes which means that as long as the specific Astrologer consistently uses the same method of calculation you can be reasonably certain they will come up with consistent insights.
• Most Astrologers rely on the general Sun-Sign (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, etc.) to calculate the forecast. However, there are three other major points to concern yourself with.
1 The Moon Sign
2 The position of Mars
3 Your Ascendant
• A true Astrological forecast takes ALL of the major planets into consideration, Not just the Sun-sign.
Each of these additional points of reference have a major impact on your day.
This said, when your horoscopes doesn’t quite match your belief, or the way your day seems to be going, look to these other signs as well to get a more complete picture.
