A customer asked a very simple but important question yesterday. “What is my purpose, why am I here?” The answer is simple but very complicated. Your purpose is to be love. You are here to demonstrate to the world around you how to love. How do you accomplish this task of being a demonstration of love it is simple love yourself.
I have said it before and I will say it again - if you want the world around you to show you respect you first have to respect yourself. The world around you is truly a reflection of your own thoughts and feelings.
Many times I hear people say I tried being positive and I get nothing but the same bad or negative results and I get so frustrated I give up. After so many years of living with less and struggling through each day wondering when the end is coming I understand the urge to give up.
To those of you who have given up you are in my thoughts and prayers. To those of you who are on the close to giving up but haven’t yet I suggest you go out and plant a garden of flowers or tomatoes or some kind of vegetables.
If you are thinking you are not a gardener and you are incapable, challenge yourself and tell yourself you can. There are lots of videos online that will walk you through what it takes to create a garden of whatever you like be it flowers or vegetables. If you do this today will you have a garden tomorrow. Don’t pay attention to specific instructions about the type of soil needed, the seeds or fertilizer, the watering frequency in time will produce the desired results.
For me the key ingredients to producing anything successful are consistency, focus, time and patience. It is also important during this time to avoid complaining about anything having to do with the garden. If you are going to say anything about the process or the garden, tell yourself that it has been a rewarding experience and that your garden is the best in all the surrounding area. I am sure in a matter of weeks if you have followed the instructions and taken the required action in 6 to 12 weeks you’ll have a fantastic garden!
Why plant a garden when it is your finances or your love life that needs improving?
It’s an exercise of consistency, focus, patience and time needed to gain positive results.
It is not just one day of treating yourself with compassion, kindness, and respect that gets you the better life - it is a life time of being consistent with kindness toward yoursel. It is being focused on your goal(s) and not caving to the distraction of the world around you. It is the ability to be patient and putting in the time that will bring about the changes you need.
We have entered into the sign of Cancer June 21 – July 20 it is a wonderful time of year. The beginning of summer. A time for family, friends and fun!
The energy in the sign of Cancer can make us long for the past when things were easier …or so we think and make us want to give up on the future that might be better for us if we just give it a chance.
If you have started something new in this sign of Cancer think twice before you decided to quit something that will change your life in a good way. Do your best to stay consistent and focused, be patient with yourself and the world around you and give yourself as much time as you need to accomplish your goals.
If you can do that I am sure you will end up with the best possible results… maybe even better than you could have imagined for yourself.
