With just forty days left in the year 2016 I thought I would take a moment to write a little something about the coming New Year, and making New Year’s resolutions. For those of you doing the math this article is being written on November 21 2016 and for those of you who follow astrology it is the beginning of the sign of Sagittarius. This a great time to turn the lights on in our lives and really take a look at what is happening in our lives and decide what we can do going forward to make things better for ourselves and/or the world around us.
I am not a Sagittarius, so how does any of this apply to me? You are right you may not be a Sagittarius but if you are reading this on November 21 or anytime over the next thirty days from the twenty-first your attitude and thoughts will be dominated by the energy of Sagittarius.
This is not a bad thing if you are born in the Sagittarius or if you are just someone looking for a solution to a problem. If you do have a problem and you are struggling to find a solution I find that people born in the sign of Sagittarius are more than willing to help you find a solution. Be warned there may be a cost involved with this solution and I am not just talking financial. The energy of Sagittarius can cause us all to be brutally honest and sometimes what is said to another can unintentionally hurt. A word of advice here, if you are giving advice or receiving advice during this period of time please be gracious and gentle, someone is trusting you with their personal life experience. No person has a lock on life. You can speak from experience and every experience is different. You may not have the right answer for the person you are talking to but sometimes it is good to just let someone get something off of their chest. Whatever is happening and for whatever reason, keep it in confidence. I am sure there will be lots of discussions. In this sign of Sagittarius lots of amazing stories to be shared, please remember not to gossip.
For those of you looking forward to ending the year of 2016 and making a resolution for the coming year I must tell you the truth as I see it. Your resolution for the coming year will not work unless you are born in the month of January which is the first month of the year. In order for a New Years resolution to be made and for it to be most effective and achievable in your own life, make the resolution on your birthday. Success is almost guaranteed... depending on your attitude and how disciplined you can be about it. If you fail with the resolution don’t get discouraged you can always try again next year.
